Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) has gone on sale on the web despite not being launched until November this year. It's on sale for £550 ($1,020) for the 60GB version on Play.com, however it is only a pre-order.
Play.com says that because of an expected European shortage, it cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas. Play.com is also offering three games in its package. Driving simulator Formula One 06, flying game Warhawk and the karaoke-themed Singstar. Japanese gamers will be the first to get their hands on the PS3 on 11 November while the console will arrive in the US and Europe on 17 November. You can get an Xbox 360 premium and SIX games for that...I am

these are the systems where gona have for the next 5-10 years till new ones come oout. so for me it might be 150-200 bucks more. im not settling for less. its worth it for the beter system in the long run. hey,if you like that, why get a 360, get a nintendo wii. there even cheaper

How long has the ps2 lasted till the ps3? I want a console i will use for 6+ years, that i know have games being produced for it that i want. I may get a Wii, because its different, and playing games will be differernt, plus its cheap. And also its not a part of the PS3 > 360 battle for the next gen... But i want a ps3 because i fully trust sony to produce top quality goods, with brillaint game series i am firmilier with. -------------------- |

I heard the ps3 will have firmware updates just like the psp. If so, then i think the ps3 could have alot to offer.

Also, the longer you wait, the higher a version you get.
