Gamespot has released Take Two's latest fiscal report. It mainly discusses T2's losses over Hilarity/Jack's "Censor Em All" campaign amongst the Hot Coffee scandal. (Just so you know, that buzzword is starting to piss me off) Also, Bully's release date has been pushed back to early 2006. However, here is the clincher that will make you shit yourself in joy:

The third quarter of its 2006 fiscal year will see "a sequel of a Rockstar brand" ship, while the overall year will see "two new titles for the PSP system." Last but definitely not least, Take-Two's next fiscal year will see "extensions of the Grand Theft Auto franchise" on unidentified platforms, according to its earnings report. But when asked by analysts if this meant a new console GTA was coming next year, chief financial officer Karl Winters demurred, saying only, "We haven't announced that yet ... [we have] no announcement beyond PSP Grand Theft Auto." When we asked Sam Houser about this, he simply stated: "I can't talk to you right now. I am busy playing Barbie's Horse Adventure". Yes, my friends it looks like the elusive monster known as GTA4 will most likely be rearing his ugly head next mid year. Politicans and soccer moms are going to pissing themselves in fear and agony... [center]  [/center]

I read about it last nigh, but i also read a couple of months ago that someone with taketwo had said they expected a sequel to the gta series in the third quarter 2006... old news?
