I agree, the Gamespot dude didnt sound as enthusiastic as the IGN guy. The IGN guy sounded genuinely excited about it while the Gamespot guy seemed like he was trying to remain professional about it. The IGN guy was keeping it REAL.
Heh not surprisingly R* liked the IGN one too and quoted it on their website in the news section. "I'm not going to beat around the bush. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the single best PlayStation 2 title I have ever played." - IGN.com -------------------- "It’s like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder

Yeah, Gamespot guy picked on San Andreas. He's probably in a bad mood. The past Gamespot updates have been shit anyway. IGN's reviewer gave an overall satisfied feeling after reading it, making me want to play San Andreas. Gamespot wastes too much time on one subject. The IGN guy said GTASA was the best game he's ever played on PS2, that’s pretty amazing considering he probably reviews lots of PS2 and X-Box games. |

8.5
Graphics The framerate, pop-in, collision and streaming issues that plagued the earlier games are back once again, but at a far less frequent rate. The rest of the game is absolutely beautiful, though. I would given that a 9 because it gives us that vintage GTA feeling ;-) -------------------- ![]() Add Me on MySpace if you're so inclined... QUOTE (Heartless on GTA4.TV) Unlike the mainstream forums, we're gritty, crazy sociopaths. And still approved by Rockstar. Most GTA Sites cater to a younger, softer audience (Zidane?), as opposed to this forum, which caters to bi-polar grandmothers with too many cats (Pyro?). |

The Gamespot review was no-where as good as the IGN review,it just felt like it missing something or hiding the truth about how good this game will be.

GameSpot probably gave it a crap rating because they didn't get half of the previews that IGN got before the game was released. Everything GameSpot posted was a copy of IGN with some different screens. I loved that video of that fat retard describing the game though. Wait, no I didn't. It fucking sucked ass.

Lmfao, Gamespot are just critics not gamers, the person who typed up the IGN review you could see he was an actual fan of the game hence imo the IGN review is the better one and the "real" one.

^^Lol. I liked how ign siad that instade of looking at what the game did wrong we shold look at what the game did right which is everything except for the graphics. Which most GTA fans don't even mind. And about the audio I understand that there are lots of people who don't like the soundtrack but the other part of the sound is perfect. (I acually love the sound track.) IGN gave it 9.9 cause like I said they looked at what R* did right. On the other side Gamespot gave it a 9.6 because of the graphic(9.8) and sound(9.9) now if it got 9.8 and 9.9 for sound and graphics atleast fatty should of gave it 9.7 (unless its the avg.) Anyways I don't really care I just want to thank all you guys on this site specially Psy for keeping me updated and entertained till this game came out. Ofcourse I want to thank Rockstar for making such a great game and I hope its the greatest selling game of the year and also I hope GTA for PS3 will be even 200 times better which is almost imposible but Rockstar can do the imposible. I give the game 10 out of 10 -------------------- ![]() La Mara Salvatrucha |
