I can't understand the point of this.having the businesses are as annoying as having the turfs on San andreas, it gets in the way of missions and always seems to be at the other side of the map. anyone else have the same feelings about this or is it just me?

Once you wipe out the gangs, they are gone.
I maxed out all my businesses before I got 100%.
Your only concern really are the Sharks, and the Bikers.

It's a good game, just a bit trickier than the
gang situation in San Andreas, which is just
fighting basically, not re-building.

But killing off the gangs, after 100%,
I found it harder to have fun like with GTA:III
and GTA:VC when gangs are still around to play with.

On my 100% save I actually had to drive the red
Landstalker around looking for the Sharks to have
fun with, and it's really hard to spawn them after they
are totally wiped out. So that is the other side of it.

It takes time to do it. I would usually take over all of the businesses on the Westside before doing anything else apart from Empire missions, unlock the Eastside, and do it all over again. The bitch was trying to avoid the ambushes that The Sharks would perform once you tried to take over their businesses.

TIP: If you have all the Empires and done all of the 6 types of Empire Missions, convert all 30 to High Roller Robbery businesses. It gives you the maximum 16:00 outcome of $126,000.

Note: If you take over all the Biker businesses (for example) they will still wander the streets. Save, reload and every last one of them is gone out of the game. Not with the Cholos, doe, you wipe them out after "Havana Good Time". smile.gif
