OK this is firefox related but not I didn't think it should go in the firfox topic.So basically I just got my computer cleaned and I was reinstalling everything on it.I just installed firefox and opened it when a norton alert popped up.I just clicked ok without really glancing at the problem.Well,I blocked firefox and I need to unblock it but I don't know how.Help.

Surely there must be a way in Norton itself to unblock it? Although I don't have Norton myself, there must be an options tab or something. Try looking for something called program control. It might be something to do with your firewall too, though. If your firewall blocked Firefox, you can't go on the internet. Does Firefox not start at all or does it not let you browse the internet?

It opens but its not allowing any websites.Internet explorer works but I'll die if I use it too much.

Right, now can you tell me what Firewall (if any) you have.

Oh, and have you checked for a block option in Norton Antivirus?

OK I found the lsit of recent alerts in the Log Viewer.This is what it said:
Details: An instance of "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\FIREFOX.EXE" is preparing to access the Internet.


I just can't find where to change it back.
