PSM in the United States have come out with a whole 5 page article (wowzas!). This preview is the same one seen in past magazines, however most of the new information was about the HUD, Weapons and Gameplay. While there wasn't much revealed to PSM that was new, here were a few tidbits we pulled from the article.
     - Every Building is pock-marked with the scars of modern living. - Graffiti stains walls, billboards and the back of filth splotched vans feature in the game. - The realism of the shooting system has been overhauled. Aiming effects everything. Headshots actually kill people this time, and if you shoot someone in the leg, they limp. - HUD contains health bar that goes around the map. It is described as a thin, green band. - Most key gameplay aspects won't be revealed before the release. - The reporters saw Niko using a couple of different pisols, an Uzi and Little Jacob's trunk had a few rifles, including Sniper options and others. Sounds good, always wanted customisable guns, maybe it will effect the way you do missions if you can't afford a night vision scope or something then you won't be able to snipe as well at night meaning you have to go for closer contact.
Can't quite see how they can make a good shooting system without it being auto aim as using the analogue stick is just annoying. --------------------  Dragonfly  |

Customize guns with neon lights, bling bling trickers and carbon pipe and put nice 2 inch sub-woofer in your scope.

seems that scarface hath influenced R*. was i the only one to read: you have to escape from the flashing area of the map to elude the cops?
the HUD sounds very slick, but the screens look grainy....i'm all for the 'rough' look, but that's just bad...it needs more polish yet.  Nah... the screens look grainy because some mags print like that... it isn't the actual pics quality pal. It actually didn't say sniper rifles were customizable to the extent of what you are all thinking of.
