I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. I have played a number of on-line videos of Mission "Against All Odds"
and in each case when CJ & Catalina exit the betting shop their car is waiting for them where they parked it outside
and they can make an easy escape out of town heading for the "Pay & Spray." I have tried the mission a dozen times
now and my major problem is that there is no vehicle waiting for me outside the betting shop and I must find and jack
a vehicle collect Catalina before I can begin to try and get out of town. This is all happening under a four star wanted
status with SWAT & Cops & Choppers after me. Also the choice of vehicles to jack is few and at a distance from the
betting shop. In the videos I watched the Buffalo we came in (a hot car) is parked and waiting already pointed in the
right direction to exit the town easily.

My question is: What the hell is wrong? Am I doing something wrong to prevent my Buffalo from being where I parked it
before entering the betting shop? Can anyone answer these questions?

I am playing GTA SA PC V2. Please don't tell me they made this version much harder than earlier versions. This could
take me forever to get through this mission. Even when I find a vehicle by the time Catalina gets in (If she does get in)
the vehicle takes a pounding from cop cars and bullets and banging my way through them that by the time I get on the
road out of town the vehicle is badly damaged and about to explode or on flat tires or whatever.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What you need to do is drive the car inside the red shiney thing. I had a lot of the same problem, and it took me a long time to figure it out.

Saint Rising, you are a Saint. I have not tried it yet because I am taking a break right now. My eyes can't see straight after all those
attempts earlier and my nerves are not settled down yet. Man alive is that all there is to it. In a couple of hours I will take another
shot at it and this time I will drive into the red shiney thing instead of parking and walking into it. I will be back later with the results.

Thanks a million notworthy.gif

Well, mission accomplished. clap.gif Thank you Saint Rising thumbup.gif

You might also consider jacking a Motorcycle before you start the mission.
More handy in the get-away.

Don't go Mission to Mission. Spend time just looking around, behind walls/bushes, on roofs, under bridges. Explore the Car park buildings and anyother building you can enter...

Thanks Weasel, you are right. It would have been much easier on a motorcycle, but now I am finished with
that mission.

I am trying to get through the liquor store holdup now and don't think I will ever complete it. I have been
down those dirt trails on a motorcycle a few times to get the lay of the land and I have no problem
negotiating the paths at high speed that way. However, when I try and control that piece of crap 4-wheeler
it is a completely different story. That little turd is so squirrelly that I can hardly keep it on the trails at high
speed and I keep losing control and fishtailing all over until I hit a tree or something and the three cowboys
get too far ahead. Even when I do get close to them that nagging bitch can't seem to take them out unless
I stay right on their tail for a good while. I guess I have to keep trying and hope I get lucky one of these times.
That verbal abuse from Catalina is getting very old too.

Anyway thanks for the suggestion. I like riding the motorcycles best of all in the game and love the way they
get through those tight places that a car just can't handle.

Use a motorcycle for this one too.

Park it nearby.

When the game forces you to get on the quad... Jump off and get on your M/cycle.
You can have CJ do some pursuit shooting too.
It's the only way I do it.

and hint: don't stop to pickup the money until you've done for all the robbers.

Man I didn't know you could do that. I thought it had to be done the way the scene flow went. Well
my friend Weasel after a few tries I finally completed the mission on the quadbike. I actually killed the
last robber at his house when he was off his quadbike and then went back for the money. Now I am
going to start a new thread requesting help with the "Small Town Bank Robbery" my last Catalina
mission.

Thanks for your help Weasel even if it came a tad late. What you have told me will surely help me
in future missions.
