I tried to upload a picture of me both to my personal photo, and to the post a picture of yourself topic. But all the uploads fail'd. I checked the file size and it was 1.14 MB. So... what the hell is wrong?

Uploaded personal photos are limited to 100kb, 150x150px, so try resizing it for that.

What's the file type of the photo you're trying to upload? Can you try uploading it in this thread instead? What message does it give you?

The photo is a Jpeg, but for some reason, it says upoad failed, and that the file size is 10.37MB. I'm trying it in this thread, upload failed.

Ah right. Well each member can upload up to 10MB of files onto the forums through attachments, and you've gone over your limit. If you go here can you see your old uploads and delete some of the old ones?

Wait? I have to delete old uploads? Then that's probably it...

I'm talking about the attachments you had on the old boards. Collectively, they are bigger than 10MB. Click the link I posted to delete some of the old ones.

Of course you don't need to upload a 1MB picture of your own face so you could always resize it.

EDIT: yeah.

I have a problem as well. I have met the right requirements for a pic, but it tells me it is not a valid JPEG image when I do not know the definition of "valid" when it comes to image uploading and when I check the file, it tells me it is a JPEG image.

*sigh*

If you can't get it to upload the picture like that, use image shack or something.

If it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.
