More weirdness, horse still doesn't appear when you whistle, or it appears then suddenly vanishes while running towards you, if you shoot NPCs off of horses the horse disappears before they hit the ground, then the person disappears as they hit the floor. Tesoro Azul was only spawning 5 enemies maximum (actually most times only had three) and after those enemies were killed it finished and gave me a reward of 300XP (not bad for 10 seconds work.) A guy was constantly shooting at me with something and every time it hit, I went to near-death level, then rehealed a bit before he shot me again and I went back to near-death... but I never actually died even though he shot me several times.

So uh yeah...

Oh, good one. The "you're on the internet so you must have no life" insult isn't moronic or unoriginal at all. You must, without a doubt, be a very important member of society, not at all a waste of the already barely valuable gift of life.

As is the case for everyone who takes issue with people who make them sad on the internet, you are one of two kinds of people:

You are exactly what you claim I am, and that is a lonely, pathetic basement dweller. You life is spent eating eight pounds of junk food per day, masturbating to anything you find online that's even remotely feminine, and wishing you had good looks and social skills. You continue to live with your mother until she dies of a combination of lung cancer and liver failure brought on by the chain-smoking and heavy drinking she used to cope with what a failure you are. Your mother mercifully dead and free of the living embodiment of failure she regretfully thrust from her loins, the bills start to pile up and you, unemployed and unable to pay these bills (of course), lose the house and everything in it. Somehow even more of a failure than you already were, you wander from place to place eating out of dumpsters and sleeping in your own filth until you finally die of AIDS, which you contracted from a diseased whore you scrounged up enough money to pay for, so you could finally lose your virginity while at the same time pretending that your mother was back in your life.

Or:

You are the type who was an athlete in high school, who was genetically doomed to be an idiot but managed to finish school and even get a college scholarship because you were so good at a worthless children's game. You went off to college with a suitcase full of polo shirts and condoms, the polo shirts, because you're a douche, and the condoms to prevent you from impregnating the dim-witted young college girls whom you could never touch without the aid of Rohypnol, a drug you refer to as "roofies" because you can neither spell or pronounce Rohypnol. You scrape by with borderline D's for the next four years, and leave the campus to go out into the real world where your realize you're not intelligent or talented enough to do anything of value with your life. Misery and minimum wage ensues for thirty years, then you blow your brains out, and your corpse, alone and forgotten, is not discovered until the smell of rotting flesh seeps under your door and your bodily fluids finally soak through the floor of your studio apartment and into the room below you. Your body is cremated, the ashes scraped into a garbage bin because there was no one in your life who valued you enough to pay for a casket, funeral, or burial plot.

You're undoubtedly one of the two, otherwise you would have better things to do than complain about the theme of a forum that doesn't care about anything you have to say.

I tried it last night after getting the DLC. About 1am GMT and Multiplayer public wouldn't load. I could get into the outfitter or a public room. Just got the red lading screens for about 10 mins b4 i turned it off.

I'm finding that i have to go to Single Player when i load up. Then go from the pause menu to Private Multiplayer. And then from the select menu to public freeroam for it to work... What a load of shit.

I think we should all just do a private freeroam and do the co-op missions together...

The loading screen problem is pissing me off, I managed to join a shootout that was seconds from being over, then returned to the lobby for the next match, then sat at the loading screen for 3 minutes before quitting the game via the XMB.

I had the invisible players glitch earlier too, I was repeatedly sniping some level 2 guy when he just disappeared, but I was still getting shot myself so he must've been able to see me, when I got killed it came up as if i'd died. I managed to get close to his blip and threw a stick of dynamite which killed him somehow, then when he respawned he was visible again.

The horse still doesn't come a lot of times when you call it and the all the gang hideouts seem fucked, Nosalida was spawning 6 enemies on average.

So I don't think i'll bother playing for a few days.

Okay, I played a bit yesterday evening. I'm not really sure why, but I was getting scores of $2000 and upwards when the rest of the team were barely making $700, but anyways... for the gold medals I got I was getting 1100-1300XP, and for the one bronze I got 300XP. On the whole, not the best option for grinding, but they're quite good fun - maybe just a little bit on the short side if anything. The commentator will get boring very quickly.

I wonder how much more difficult the advanced missions are and whether you get any more XP for them...

Hang on, did you get 1100-1300XP at the end of the mission when the stats screen comes up? Or were the checking to see if you were getting xp while playing? Because I've been getting around the same amount of cash as you ($1600-$2000), but i was only getting around 300-350XP.... I'm going to have another look, see if anything has changed, if i can even get on a co-op game atm!

For me the hideouts spawn 3-4 enemies. I'd like to get the free XP by just standing there. mellow.gif

It seems if you carry on doing the hideouts with 3-4 enemies they'll eventually decrease to 2 then 1 then nothing, meaning you get the free XP by just pressing the left arrow. I'm currently sitting here doing it, i've got halfway through level 49 just using this trick, although sometimes you'll have one enemy spawn meaning you have to actually be at the game to finish the mission.

I'm at level 50 and that's where i'm staying, fuck legend rankings. Now i'm going to try and do some more ranked matches and get a golden gun, even though it makes bugger all difference.

I'd have liked an ammo increase as a bonus for reaching rank 50, maybe increase it to half the maximum capacity, and also up the ammo for dynamite and fire bottles to maybe 4-6. But oh well.

Hey guys,

Thanks for your patience. We've isolated the issue with the free DLC mission pack that was causing broader problems with Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer, and we've implemented a fix that is now live on both platforms. This update is now in place (you will not be prompted to download anything, but you may need to restart your game in order for it to take effect).

The update also closes an XP exploit whereby players could trigger empty Gang Hideouts and have them register as complete.

For anyone still experiencing issues, please contact our technical support team for assistance through any of the following means:

Glad I got that free levelling done when I did.

...?? what are these glitches your all talking about?? i didn't witness anything strange at all...

these are kind of fun but, they take WAY TOO LONG to beat for the little amount of XP you get... i noticed that gold medals get you a lot more XP but, some of these missions take more than 30 minutes... me and a friend took almost 45 minutes on the river mission mad.gif... and we got a bronze trophy and a shitty amount of XP... i think the most we made was from the pike's basin one, "the herd"... i see some fun with these but thank god the XP is small... that just further cements my reasoning to stay away from the prestige level shit...

i've earned 5 trophies so far biggrin.gif... only two left before i possibly consider the advanced versions of the co-op stuff...
