Has anyone else ever wondered why they only released Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories on Sony PS2 and PSP? LCS was released around 2006 and VCS around 2007, which means they're easily in the time length of the 360, so R* should consider releasing these two on the 360.

The thing is with 360 it seems most companies don't want to sell games with a low price point, same with Ps3. Hencewhy it came out on ps2 which is an older system. I think it has something to do with making as much money as long as possible and if they released lcs and vcs they would have to price it low and then people would start to question the pricing on new video games. Thats my take on it.

Sounds fair.

Also, they were previous generation games, and people would complain if a 360/PS3 game came out which is clearly not up to the current generation standards. May also be issues with porting it to the current generation consoles, but I have no idea how that works.

Because putting it on 360 would be pointless. They already have GTA IV, and the original Xbox was discontinued by the time it was released. It would make much more sense to create a brand new game than to port a old-gen game (which wasn't even that popular) to a new-gen system.

i personally loved these games. it was fantastic to see the cities in different years. i'd also love for this to happen, but it probably wont. its not the best option financially. and money is what its all about, making lots of it.

They looked about garbage blown up from the PSP to a full TV set, so it's best to leave them on the PS2 and not put them on a system that far outstrips what the game could ever possibly give.

Besides, you can pick up used PS2's dirt cheap from places like EBay or a pawn shop.

I reckon R* should bundle together both Vice City & Liberty City Stories (like the TLAD & BOGT disc) and obviously give them a huge overhaul then re-realise them.

These games are in the past now. I would rather a new GTA instead of a overhauled old one. Make them DLC.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the possibility of them being downloadable. Jeez.
