A little late, but...

Ok, so this is supposed to be a blog about Fantasy Football. Not sure how to start this off other than by saying that I'm a little late to the party here (we're already at week 8), so I guess I'll just give a run down of my team and where I am at in the standings in the league I'm in.

QBs - Sam Bradford, Matt Cassel
RBs - Rashard Mendenhall, LeSean McCoy, Ryan Torain, Ryan Matthews, Michael Bush
WRs - Calvin Johnson, Roddy White, Terrell Owens, Jacoby Jones, Davon Bess
TEs - Vernon Davis
Ks - Neil Rackers
D/STs - New York Jets

In our league (which is a Points Per Reception, or PPR, league), we start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 WR/TE, a K, and a D/ST. So my starting lineup going into this week is:

QB - Matt Cassel
RBs - Rashard Mendenhall, Ryan Torain
WRs - Calvin Johnson, Terrell Owens
WR/TE - Jacoby Jones
K - Neil Rackers
D/ST - New York Jets

I'm currently in 3rd place in our league (10 teams), and I have a record of 4-3. I started 0-3, but after some good luck and some serious waiver wire pickups I have racked off 4 straight wins and vaulted near the top of the league. With only 6 weeks to go, I have to keep this up if I want to make the playoffs.

Not sure what else to say to start this blog, but I can say what my schedule for new posts will be.

Tuesdays - I'll break down how my players did, how my opponent did, and who won the game.
Thursdays - I'll take questions from anybody about fantasy football and answer them here. If I get no questions (you can email me at fflipps@yahoo.com), then I'll scour the web for questions asked of other fantasy football "experts" and give my take on them.
Fridays - Start Em/Sit Em. I'll give my opinion on which players should be started, which ones to leave on your bench, and why.

That does it for now. Come back Tuesday to see what happened this week with my team!
